This week's Special Events
Big house meeting
The big house meeting is the democratic parliament and information forum of Trampoline House, where users, interns, volunteers, and staff update each other on news and discuss urgent issues related to the house or life as a refugee/asylum seeker.
This week, the big discussion will be about gender roles in Trampoline House and how we create a good and equal relation between women and men in the house.
Everyone who has 'praktik' (refugee internship) will get a transport ticket to attend the big house meeting – also if you don't have 'praktik' on Tuesdays!

Introduction to the Danish asylum system
This Friday at 4–6 pm, you have the opportunity to hear Michala Clante Bendixen from Refugees Welcome lecture about the Danish asylum system in Trampoline House – a must if you are a new intern/volunteer/researcher in the house.
Entrance is free and all are welcome!
"Challenges of Civics Activism in Danish Society," a presentation by Birte Siim
The presentation presents the goals, strategies and motivations to act for civil society associations, pro-migrant groups, individuals and movements.
Key questions are: Who are the actors involved? What are their claims? What are the results of their activities? What forms of civic activism do they refer to and what are the perspectives of these movements?
The lecture is based on a chapter for the book: "Citizens’ Activism and solidarity Movements in Contemporary Europe: Contending with Populism" (Palgrave/Macmillan) Fort, ed. by Birte Siim, Aino Saarinen and Anne Krasteva. And it's conducted by Birte Siim – Professor at the Department of Culture and Global Studies, Aalborg University – herself.
Free admission - all are welcome.
