ALL DAYS / Community dinner
Every Tuesday and Wednesday at 5:30 pm and Fridays at 6 pm, users and guests in Trampoline House can enjoy a tasty, nutritious meal during our community dinners. The meals are prepared by asylum interns and refugee job trainees in collaboration with volunteers, who make dishes inspired by the cuisines of their different countries of origin. We are grateful to the Danish Food Bank for delivering free groceries every week that would otherwise have been discarded. The meals are free, but we encourage volunteers, educational interns, and guests to make a donation of DKK 20. When: Tuesdays & Wednesdays, 5:30–6:30 pm, Fridays 6–7 pm (last Friday of the month closed). Where: Trampoline House’s café.
FRIDAY / Women’s Class: Capacity building in the asylum and integration systems
On Friday, Women’s Class offers a workshop about how to capacity build in the asylum and integration systems. How can you build new competences in the asylum system when you are not entitled to education? How can you prepare yourself for the Danish labor market after you have received residence permit? There will be translation to Arabic, Farsi, and Danish. When: Friday, Aug. 16, 4–6 pm. Where: Trampoline House’s small classroom. Click here to see the fall program for Women’s Class.
FRIDAY / Bible class for Farsi speakers
Every Friday, longtime volunteer in Trampoline House, Mandana, teaches a bible class for Farsi speaking Christians. Join the class if you are interested in a dedicated forum for discussing the bible. You can start anytime you want – just show up and present yourself to the instructor. The class is free of charge. When: Fridays, 6:30–7:30 pm (last Friday of the month closed). Where: Trampoline House’s big classroom.
