JUNE 8: Birthday party & Reception

Join us this Saturday from 3 pm–12 am for a grand party when we celebrate Trampoline House’s 8th birthday and that more than 50,000 people signed Folkebevægelsen for asylbørns fremtid’s citizen’s proposal (‘borgerforslag’) demanding better living conditions and legal rights for children of rejected asylum seekers. The party program includes 🎉 art exhibition 🎉 facial painting for children 🎉speeches 🎉 dance workshop 🎉 reception for the citizen’s law proposal 🎉 fashion show 🎉 birthday dinner 🎉 film screening 🎉 birthday cake 🎉 live music 🎉 bar 🎉 DJs and dancing 🎉. See the full party program here. There will be busses picking up and returning people from Sjælsmark. When: Saturday, June 8, 3 pm–12 am. Where: Trampoline House. INFO MEETING: How to volunteer or do an internship

Are you thinking about volunteering or doing an internship in Trampoline House? Or are you a researcher or cultural producer, who would like to do research or make a project in the house? Then join our monthly information meeting, where you will learn how. When: Wednesday, June 5, 5–6:30 pm. Where: Trampoline House’s big classroom. Click to read more. TALK: The Danish Asylum System

This Friday, you can attend a free talk on the Danish asylum system by Michala Clante Bendixen from Refugees Welcome. During the talk, you will learn about the structure of the Danish asylum system, how asylum claims are being assessed, how many asylum seekers are currently coming to and living in Denmark, and much more. The lecture is a must if you are a new intern, volunteer, or researcher in the house. When: Friday, June 7, 4–6 pm. Where: Trampoline House’s big classroom. Click here to read more. NEW CLASS: Business training class

Our first business training class was so popular that we will continue the class. Join if you are an asylum seeker or refugee who would like to learn how to start your own business and how to become successful in your work life. When: Every Wednesdays from 1:30–3:30 pm. Where: Trampoline House’s small classroom.

FRIDAY: Fashion show rehearsal

On Friday from 4:30–6 pm, fashion designer and artist Dady de Maximo will teach the children, women, and men participating in the fashion show during Saturday’s birthday party how to walk like a model. Anyone can join. Please wear your most beautiful clothes. When: Friday, June 7, 4:30–6 pm. Where: Trampoline House’s Multizone.
