WEDNESDAY / Business training workshop

This series of workshops aims to develop and support the entrepreneurial potential of refugees and immigrants, and to help minority community members become successful in their work life. FRIDAY / Discussion about abortion in Democracy class

This Friday, the participants in Trampoline House’s Democracy class will be discussing the controversial topic of abortion. The West favors abortion, but all other worlds don’t. What are their arguments? Democracy class is open to people with special interest in politics and communication. Talk to Trampoline House director Morten Goll if you want to join the class. When: Friday, Sept. 20, 2:30–4 pm. Where: Trampoline House’s small classroom.

FRIDAY / Women’s Class on navigating in the Danish systems

In Women’s Class on Friday, we will have a workshop with Trampoline House's legal counselor Asrin Mesbah about how to navigate in the Danish systems. Get good advice about how to talk to Danish authorities (police officers, municipality workers, Immigration system staff, Red Cross workers, etc.) so you get the best treatment and protect your rights and interests. Everyone who identifies as women are welcome. There will be translation to Arabic, Farsi, and Danish. When: Friday, Sept. 20, 4–6 pm. Where: Trampoline House’s small classroom.

LØRDAG / Guided tour in Sjælsmark for interns and volunteers

This Saturday, interns and volunteers in Trampoline House can get a guided tour in deportation center Sjælsmark by one of the members of the house. Are you wondering what a Danish asylum center looks like from the inside and what life conditions are offered to asylum seekers in Denmark, then join this tour. You need to register before Thursday by emailing to volunteer@trampolinehouse.dk. You are responsible for covering your own travel expenses. Remember to bring photo ID which you need to present at the entrance.
Directions from Københavns Hovedbanegård (Copenhagen Central Station):
11:00 am: Take Regional train Re 1343 (direction Nivå Station) to Rungsted Kyst Station.
11:29 am: Get off at Rungsted Kyst Station and walk 3 min. to bus 381.
11:34 am: Take bus 381 (direction Allerød Station) to Sjælsmark Landsbyen (Sjælsmarkvej).
11:52 am: Get off at Sjælsmark Landsbyen (Sjælsmarkvej) and walk 3 min. to Sjælsmarkvej 10.
12 pm: The guide will meet you at the gate
The tour finishes at 1:30 pm.
