Cinema Club presents Jacques Tati's film "My Uncle" (1958)

Trampoline House Cinema Club is for everyone. The concept of the cinema club is to screen two films per month (every second and third Friday of the month) that have something in common (culturally, thematically, artistically, etc.), and we will try to screen films that mainly tell stories through images and soundscapes, instead of spoken language.

In September, we will screen two masterpieces! The two masterpieces are both made by the French, visionary and comic genius, Jacques Tati: "My Uncle" (1958) and "The Illusionist " (2010).

On Friday, September 8, 7-9 pm, "My Uncle" will be screened.
On Friday, September 15, 7-9 pm, "The Illusionist" will be screened.

There will be drinks (alcoholic plus non-alcoholic) and snacks. So bring your friends to Trampoline House and share a great cinematic experience with us.

DESCRIPTION OF “MY UNCLE”:
“A simple man, Monsieur Hulot, visits his young nephew who lives with his rich parents in a technology-driven modern home. Besides having trouble fitting into their modern home, Monsieur Hulot has a hard time fitting into the labour market and capitalist society in general.”
