March 16 is the day when many people in many cities in Europe and the world join forces in demonstrations. We will not be able to solve the various social problems we face unless we can defend the interconnection between ordinary people against the attempts of racists and fascists to divide us.
In Denmark, we are exposed to paradigm shifts in immigration policies, "ghetto legislation," masking ban, and attacks on human rights. In Europe, parties from the far right gain more voters and form governments. With Donald Trump in the US and Jair Bolsonaro in Brazil, the extreme right hatred against migrants, Muslims, women, LGBT members, blacks, indigenous peoples, and ideological opponents has reached the presidential posts in the two largest countries in the Americas.
