become a volunteer
It is not easy being a refugee or an asylum seeker in Denmark. In Trampoline House, we try to make it a bit easier.
Become a volunteer in Trampoline House and become part of a unique community, where we work together to improve the legal situation, equality, and participation of refugees and asylum seekers in Danish society.
Everyone is welcome to apply regardless of gender, sexual orientation, age, ethnicity, or religion. Unfortunately, we cannot help with your visa application process – you should already have a visa or residence permit when applying. Trampoline House also cannot offer internships.
UPDATE: Trampolinhuset is currently restructuring and looking for a new space. We hope to be able to take on new volunteers by the end of 2025. More info to follow.
We are looking for volunteers. If you see yourself in our organisation - don’t hesitate to get in touch.
How to apply:
Send us an email with a short application and your CV to mathias@trampolinhuset.dk, specifying which volunteer position from the list above you are interested in.

Professional legal counseling equips refugees with the means to navigate and participate in the Danish society. Some are dealing with asylum rejections, while others are unaware of their rights to maternity leave. Across a diversity of situations, Asrin Mesbah offers legal advice on a daily basis, in the safe environment of Trampoline House.
“This is a life experience that I would recommend to anyone just because it teaches you so much; staying at Trampoline House is a nice experience and you get to learn a lot. Personal change and achievement, lessons for you and your life; it’s not just like any other internship that you get to do in other NGOs or organisations.”
“There’s a different atmosphere out here. It’s not about learning Danish or getting help with your legal issues.”
"The kitchen before was very small and wasn’t prepared for this amount of people, but now it is good, and we are working more professionally."
"It’s a pleasure to be involved in a dynamic environment where everyone is part of a big family"
"We try hard to teach with a focus on how to get by in Danish society in everyday life"
"I unfortunately have had to realize that the politicians in this country don't want to finance a decent treatment of asylum seekers and refugees"
Dejene and Marie have started a new activity in Trampoline House: Radio workshops, where the participants learn to plan and produce radio as part of their internships in Trampoline House.
